I am a health care worker from back in the day. Immunized against EVERYTHING, our blood handling methods were atrocious. Diagnosed w/ HCV in ‘93. I also have tattoos, piercings, but all this pales to a memory of my little skinny 4 or 5 year old arm being immunized with a jet gun in ‘64, ‘65. That gun went from arm to arm, no needle change. The peak HCV patient load is in the 40-49 year range. That my dears, is where this bastard came from. Not from a 3rd world country: good ol US of A.
Every bit as bad as HIV. Perhaps even worse because it’s more infectious than HIV, and there are fewer drugs to treat it. Where has this bastard come from?

It’s seriously interesting. But I have a question: What’s the difference between Hapatitis A, B, and C? Are they different viruses or what? Different symptoms?
